still playing with settings and filters.
have to get this down before we leave on vacation.
Does not give me much time to get up to speed with the rest of you.
F5.6 1/50sec ISO 100 focal length was 18mm
then I used GIMP to bend the color curve just a bit to darken the sky a little.
I know its cheating to use GIMP, but until I get the camera down It does seem to have some value to it.

HVP, Someone has a darkroom for a good price right now on SOmd classifieds.

That's great, but then I wouldn't have a place for it. (Figuring I could find a way to transport it ~500 miles first.)

Thats not cheating that is just how things get done now with digital photography. All you need is a polarizing filter anymore. Well and maybe a graduated ND filter if you want to try "HDR like" photography.
