Suggestions for Puppy Training? (St. Mary's area)

Adopting a puppy this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good trainer (around the California/L-Town area)?

Visited PETCO in Cali and it was a ghost town in there, so I'm not so sure about that location.

Thanks!

Contact Peppers Pet Pantry in Callaway...I can't remember the name but I think it's Training by Julie, but they have the info in the shop. I've meet her a few times and been very impressed. :yay:

What ya adopting?

It says she has a dog named Vulva.

she just put vulva to rest and shes also got a dog named showtime. I used training by julie and she is wonderful and I really like her method of training (positive reinforcement training). She also does private lessons if you can't make it to one of her training classes at either peppers pet pantries. She covers her 6 week class in 4 weeks of 1hr private lessons. She will work with you even longer if you need her to shes not one to say well you did your 4 weeks worth of lessons you are now on your own (if you are still having troubles with certain things she will try her best to help you correct them).

:yay: Thank You.

I just found out GNC sells supplements for dogs... :starcat:

So does Pepper's Pet Pantry. You, and that little Cutie-Pup should come to the store in Solomon's tomorrow. Their Grand Opening for the new store is being held then. They have a huge store, with TONS of stuff, to include the best of natural Foods, and many toys, beds...you name it. I think it's from 1:00 PM, until 4 PM. You can get him Micro-Chipped too. There will also be some Immunizations offered. What are you naming him? Oh...and congratulations on the new little guy.

Yep, I was doing some reading and I had it all set up - how I'd act, how I'd train him... Firm but fair... and... I think I'd get a 60%-70%... Hard to be tough when they're that small.

Still undecided on the name, waiting to see more personality. His vet appointment today should tell me what's ahead. We were out of town to pick him up and couldn't make it back in time but we'll check the place out.

If you mean staffordshire terrier they are like tall pits. The one I had was much bigger than the average pit.
:yeahthat:
This one is a mix of either Staffordshire or Bull Terrier... supposedly the runt of the litter too.
