Aww - thanks for remembering. Date night was good. We ended up going to the Japanese Steak House in Wildewood Plaze in St. Mary's. It was fun and the food was tasty!

The babysitter played with the kids and my daughter schooled her on Candy Land. :)

:yay: We haven't eaten there yet. Once my hubby completes his household chores after he gets home from work, he's usually too tired to go out. :heavysigh:

My daughter is a 3 year old is in prek in huntingtown and I have a 2 year old. So I'm looking for things to do with my son is a 2 year old for 2 hours in the afternoon in the huntingtown/prince frederick area. So far I've found playgrounds and the library has an afternoon story time.

Are you looking for something you both will be involved in or just your son? If you have the time to travel.

Solomons's Museum with lots of hands on for kid’s activities most of which are free, then you can take a tour on the other side for a small fee. The number is 410-326-2042

Calvert Library sometimes sponsors children reading hours or activities. The number is 410-535-0291 or 301-855-1862.
Jefferson Patterson park sponsors activities for children of all ages, Location: 10115 Mackall Road, St. Leonard, Maryland 20685 Tel: (410) 586-8500.

Battle Creek Cypress Swamp is my favorite because it offers a awesome walking deck that circles the swamps which is not too long for someone your son’s age. Located in Prince Frederick. The short boardwalk trail and also inside it has exhibits of the local wildlife and history of the area. Location: Prince Frederick, Maryland Tel: 410-535-5327

We live in Lusby - so if we were to come home, we'd come home. But you have some good ideas. I forgot about Battle Creek Swamp. Also I am going to do the afternoon library reading time.

Thanks!

No, really, look it up, it is legal in MD. to put your child in a cage as long as you are in the same room. So dont be so fast to rule it out.
When the pug had to be crated every time I would take him out for a break it the kids would make a mad rush to the crate. They took turns locking each other in there. :shortbus::ohwell:
At least I got some funny pics.
