Charles Kuck, president-elect of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, says that means state financial aid will not be available to illegal immigrants.
"There's nothing you can legally apply for if you're here illegally," he says. "If you're attesting that you've applied for (legal residency), you'd either be lying or putting yourself into deportation proceedings."

Hard to beileve that some folks think this a a bad thing.

It truly baffles me that people think they have any of our rights and can't figure out what illegal means.
I hope that this law doesn't get held up too long by appeals. May every other state adopt this. What is so hard for the illegals to understand about being able to do the same crappy job for the same crappy money as a legal citizen???

God willing, that will only be for a short time. More than likely, it will never happen. If it does, it will still be a few years down the road. The more states that adopt this the better, on the other hand.

If you are an illegal and you see what they have gotten away with already and then you see the power you have with that hispanic vote and see politicians fighting for a spot to kiss your azz, why not give this a shot too. They may even win.

According to USNCIS, if you're a contract worker (like military recruited from other countries) you're not legal nor illegal.
