Yep. As many times as you've driven the length and breadth of the island, I figured you'd recognize it.
Yes, of course the bridge connects the island to the "mainland", Piney Point proper. The island once had it's own post office but that was many years ago; we're just part of the Piney Point postal area now.
Just two different views of the island. The second one was taken from as far south as the airspace restrictions allow...couldn't quite get south enough to capture the entire island.

No. That's all St. George's Island. Piney Point is in the far background in second pic.....connected by the little thread of land..
Here..I circled where the island bridge is..
That's Lexington Park, not Piney Point... ;-p

The guy that flies it has a good eye. He's done some amazing "photo spreads" of larger properties on behalf of realtors.
The "land mass" to the right in the pictured is the one my place is on; the main road goes all the way to its end and ends in a fenced in area.
The one to the left is accessed by turning right on to Thomas Rd. before you get to my place.

Sunrises ...the sunsets are on the other side of the island. And thanks....but I'd much rather the old house was still there, with all my stuff in it. ;-(
