The problem is not with WHAT they are selling, but their supply chain.
How so? Licensing, regulation?

Licensing and regulation compliance with regard to cleanliness and fitness for for sale of meat or other food products. Also, I have never heard of a racoon farm or ranch that owned a domestic breed/line of raccoons as livestock. In general, raccoons are considered wild animals and their possession/hunting/sale are covered by state/federal natural resource management programs such as hunting regulations.
In Maryland, it is illegal to sell any natural resource assets without a license to do so.

Find a state where you can raise them and then open a Raccoon Farm. Follow all state regulations on meat processing. Sell as Wild Game (as long as it's legal where the seller is, you can sell and ship all over the country). You can buy white tail deer venison from outfits out of state and have the meat shipped to MD.
