Apparently the Army has had to reach further toward the bottom of the barrel to keep up quotas.

Not everyone who starts a career in the Military from the bottom of the barrel stays there, most get their head straight and become great soldiers or leaders. Others will get out and become windbags like yourself so I'd have to gauge true bottom of the barrel if you ever were accepted to serve...

Great story, but by only wearing a certain color on a certain day, you're still silent. The best way to make your voice heard? Scream at the top of your lungs. Punch a Leftist in the mouth. Don't vote for the cut and run crowd. Call out the peace activists for the ignorant freaks they are.

THAT is a statement that isn't easily ignored.

I was one of those sailors also, I was a high school drop out who was heading down a path of self destruction in New York City. Joined the Navy at 17 and 24 years later retired as a naval officer with a GED, then High school diploma, degree, graduated from at least 11 advance service schools, master training certification, 8yrs law enforcement, and now work at a great firm supporting US government foriegn interest. Don't discount all the fish in the bottom of the barrel, some like myself will continually go down to see who we can help like the ones who helped me...
