They're really pretty....I have the ones in the first two pics, but I wasn't able to find a black one this year. The last pic is pretty...they look great as a ground cover!

You were looking at the vines and I was waiting to look at them. Your ex SO took the child out of the way and I said I was in no hurry and was going to be looking at the vines myself. I don't remember what you were wearing. I was too busy trying to find the vines.

Yes, yes! That was us. If you thought mini me was a girl I guess it's time I let daddy get his pretty curls cut off. He does look just like me though!

No offense. I just noticed a child with long curly hair and assumed. I may have to go back and get a few more of those vines. They do look good it potted planters on my porch. Did you get both colors?

I just got the green ones. I think they're so pretty!

I got 4 green and 2 purple and mixed them in 2 pots. I may get some more for hanging baskest. They are neat looking plants. Good luck with yours.

Did you pot them or plant them in a garden? I assume you can bring them in during the winter and they will continue to grow. If they are left outside for the winter they'll die? Are they annuals?

I planted the black-colored sweet potato vines in my two front flower beds a couple of years ago and they nearly took them over! I used them in a couple of large containers the year after that so I could better control them suckers.

Humm, I might have to move mine then I bought them not knowing what they were, but they are pretty

Do your aunt's vines come back the next year? I was almost positive they're just an annual. :shrug:




ETA: Nevermind...I see it's listed as a 'tender perennial'....so that means in MD they might not come back depending on the winter. :shrug: I guess?
