On base you can wear anything for a jacket and pants. A long sleeve t-shirt fits the criteria or even a dress shirt (with or without tie), dress pants, jeans for the legs but you MUST have over the ankle boots to get on board, and full finger Motorcycle gloves..

I try to avoid going on base with my low shoes, but occasionally a meeting pops up and I do. They dont even look at me funny. I used the same logic. My legs aint never gonna be purty, and I can hobble while a knee heals, but the head and torso, those ya need.

Around late March early April they issue all the gate guards the "rules" and tell them to enforce them.. Then after about 2 months of harassing bikers coming on base they'll put them aside, then they'll forget all about them until the following April.

You are supposed to have bright colored and reflective tops on. I see it ignored all the time. Only time I got hassled was for my fingerless gloves. I mean, really, so I lose my finger prints, so what? I think I can keep from trying to grasp pavement anyway probably because it would hurt a lot. Pretty sure it wouldn't hurt my nail polish either.
