Any good recommendations for a tattoo artist? I want to cover up an old one with a pink ribbon but I also need an artist that would be okay with me videoing for a project I'm doing.

As Venn said, Red Octopus. Only its in Prince Frederick (Calvert County), not Lusby. Almost anyone you get there is amazing. But if you want the best of the best, request Andi and/or Duffy (both girls).
Andi is the best - her waiting list is LONG though. Sometimes months in advance. But if you want a really high-quality job, shes worth the wait. She did both of mine. Here's her portfolio: Red Octopus Tattoos and Body Piercing (Andi)
Duffy is also really good, but IMO not quite as good as Andi. She did one of my BFs, though, and its really nice. Heres her portfolio: Red Octopus Tattoos and Body Piercing (Duffy) I personally would be confident having Duffy doing one of my tattoos... and Im super picky
I dont know if they'll let you video it, though. They let my bf take pictures while I was getting mine done... You'd have to call and ask. The number is (301)855-2654.

Oooooh okay okay, Dana did the one on my back.....he is pretty amazing
He is very good. I've known him for 30+ years. He re-did one of my older tatts and added to it, it came out great. And like I said, he is funny as hell too!

You're going to get a ton of different responses from a ton of different people. Tattoos are personal. I had my first one done in Greece in 1982. After that it's been a spray. I had a huge one done on my back in 1985 that is spectacular at the Underground in St Marys. Wasn't Neal, it was Jeff. I've had 8 more done at Red Octupus in Prince Fredrerick that I'm vey happy with. My original artist (Clark) has left but I've had others done by Jen and Duffy. I'm happy all of them. My wife had a huge piece done on her back by Jen that looks great. You need to figure it out yourself and go with it. If you want more info PM me.

Sorry went too far south lol, Yeah Andi and Duffy are very good! Going to get Duffy to do a cover up on my old tat, she does very good work!

The only guy that I will use is Jimmy Thompson at Chronic Ink. He has always been fair with the prices and is great at what he does. Chronic Ink is here in Mechanicsville. I first had Jimmy "ink me" when he was at Wicked Lines....that was a several years ago. Just love Jimmy and the work he does!
