Charles Co. Teams prepare for annual It’s Academic event, will air live at ccboe.com

The annual Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) It’s Academic tournament is 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 at St. Charles High School. Teams from the seven high schools will compete in rounds and answer questions in a quiz-style format. Topics range from history, literature, science, math and mythology to sports and current events.

The tournament will air live on the CCPS website at ccboe.com, starting at 6 p.m. The first-place team from Wednesday’s event will compete against St. Albans and Stone Bridge high schools in a match set to air April 4 on NBC4. The second-place team earns a spot to compete in fall 2020.
