I wonder what the circumstances were.
Probably pretty bad if she's in the Calvert County Detention Center and she was charged as an adult.

True. Just another reason why I think you should have to get a license to have a baby!

You are so meam, I dont have a clue what that was about. But "duh". I somewhat understand if deer is your only food source. But to stalk a poor animal walking through the woods is just mean. And who cares about snake fish. As far as I am concerned, you can keep your "BLOODY DEAD DEER" pics to yourself. They make a much nicer picture frolicking in the woods by a stream. So take that all you bambi killers.

I was just trying to help. :bawl: I don't know where any dead puppy links are.

update on this case

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - A teenage mom is charged with murder after she admitted stuffing her 3-month-old's mouth with a pair of socks because he wouldn't stop crying.

:twitch:
A coworker of mine's ex husband and 16 year old son live next door to the family. They said the baby had broken ribs (that were healing) and head trauma from past abuse.

That is really sad and disgusting! I wonder if she had any support system behind her, like parents or anyone! If she lived with her parents, then they need to be charged also, for letting that go on! jmo

Sorry Nickel, I just find it hard to believe anyone in the medical field would have allowed something as serious as potential abuse slip thru the cracks, not that I saying it never happens, it is just rare these days. It is the responsibility of the hospital to report all possible abuse, which means IF that really happened, somebody didn't do their job. The child should have never been returned to the mother.

Unless they never took it to the doctor, and this was discovered after the fact.

Ahhh, that might be what she meant. They very well could have found that when doing the autopsy.

The child wasn't taken to the hospital, apparantly. The story is he cried all the time, maybe the girl's mom wrote it off as colick, and didn't think twice about it. The 17 year old wouldn't know the difference. I find it hard to believe that the parents let it go on under their own roof, or didn't know about it, but people don't just suffocate their children out of the blue. That behavior has probably been going on since day one.

Ever hear of Andrea Yates? How about Susan Smith? Crap like this goes on all the time and a lot of time with no warning or signs.

Well, the baby's ribs were broken, old injuries at that, so he was abused. People are just mental, it makes me want to cry.
