I took Valium before my MRI and it was fun!

It's not a front tooth, is it? :poorbaby:

No, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the back. It broke, and now they're saying I need either:

A) A root canal, GRIND THE TOOTH DOWN TO THE BONE, and put in a crown

or

B) Extraction

:bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

Oh, and that doesn't count the cavities.

I feel for ya. Last year I had a broken tooth in back and the root canal was started. They packed it up and sent me home to return the following day to finish. Once back in the tooth, it was to far gone and the root was twisted so they couldn't finish it. A few days later I had to have it pulled. :ohwell:

They gave me a choice. I'm thinking extraction to avoid all of that.

Does your dental insurance cover an implant or only a bridge? My old dental insurance was kickass and would have paid for the implant, but then I changed companies and my current insurance only covers 50% for a bridge.

Insurance is actually pretty decent, according to the dentist. 90/10 or something like that?

:offtopic: Has anyone tried the Crest Whitening Strips? I used them 2 times a day for 2 days and I'm about ready to rip my teeth out. Figures I would be one of the people who experience sensitivity!!!!

But are your teeth whiter? :diva: You know it's better to look good than to feel good. :huggy:

Same thing happens to me. Sensodyne. :yay:

But it doesn't taste like bubblegum. :frown:

Yes .. they really do work! And actually the toothpaste they sell (in the little container) works well too!

I'm going to stop using the stips until Monday and then only use the once per day instead of two times per day!

And I agree .. no pain, no gain!
