Teresa Heinz Kerry says teaching is not a real job

Now let me say that I don't like Teresa Heinz Kerry, but saying that she doesn't know if Laura Bush has ever had a real job even though she did does not translate into "Teresa Heinz Kerry says teaching is not a real job". I think her actual statement was stupid, but not that stupid.

BTW, the same interview is being discussed in another thread.

Laura Bush was a teacher, librarian, and a mother. That's three groups that should be insulted.

I was unaware that Teresa Heinz ever had a real job - besides inheriting her dead husband's money, that is.
My first thoughts also. Early this morning I heard her mumbling a speech on some irrelevant subject and it wasn't too impressive. What nationality is she?

Should be but won't be for the most part, because they have their liberal rose colored glasses on.

"I'm older, and my validation of what I do is a little bit bigger — because I'm older, and I've had different experiences. And it's not a criticism of her. It's just, you know, what life is about," she said.

Older and a little senile, perhaps. What a flake.

"But I don't know that she's ever had a real job — I mean, since she's been grown-up.

"Since she's been grown up"? <--- Who talks like that? You know... since she's older and more validated. :duh:

My friends, we agree on many issues here on these forums; but would you seriously consider the fact that T.H. Kerry did not know in advance what sort of professional career Laura Bush had been engaged in, earlier in her life?
She is commenting on the First Lady of our country, and has no idea what Laura Bush has done in her life? Do you believe that?

If that is the case, then we are dealing with an immensely ignorant, egotistical biatch who has no business appearing on national TV!

Of course she knew the 1st Ladys' background, what's more, roll that around in your dome for a minute; how idiotic does that statement sound to you all now?

It was an immensely stupid, ignorant comment for spouse of a would-be presidential aspirer to make.

Uncanny, the way her mind must work! She's so far out of touch with the reality, she's on another dimension.:loser:

To be fair to THK, this President business is her husband's gig. She was very upfront in the beginning that she wasn't interested. So she probably didn't do her homework on the opponents and their wives the way other First Lady candidates would have. I get the impression of her that she's a woman with a full life and all she really wants, now she's just looking for a job for her playboy hubby to keep him off the streets. Not that she cares because he'd better behave or he's REALLY out on the street.

We haven't bought any Heinz products in quite a while. I have purposely avoided them since Kerry started running. Old man Heinz must be rolling in his grave. He was a staunch conservative.
