Longhorn is way better than Texas Roadhouse IMO, overall, and Longhorn has a lot more (edible) appetizers than Texas Roadhouse.

The steaks are about even between the two, which do not really rank very high in MY steak rankings, I dont go there for steaks :buddies:

Sorry been to Longhorn in Waldorf maybe 2 times did nothing for me. Ive had some of the best steaks ever at Roadhouse, I get the sirlon everytime. Although I did go to Outback in LaPlata a couple of months back and had a good steak there also.

If you think either place has good steaks, well then I am sorry for you! LOL

But we all have our preferences!

I've only been to one Texas Roadhouse, and that was in Pittsburgh. It was the best steak I've ever had (seriously). The Outback in PF never ever gets my steak right.

Yum - Bahama Breeze! But I would prefer a Capital Grille over a LongHorn if it's gotta be a steak house...

Doubt if we'll ever see the caliber of Capital Grille down here. Dry-aged steaks are hard to come by. Ever try Bobby Vans? But TR isn't bad for the average chain. It beats Longhorn and Outback IMO.

A good, well run Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse are pretty equilivant. A poorly run Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse are also pretty equilivant. The Longhorn in Waldorf is not a good one. Matter of fact I can't think of any resturant in Waldorf that hasnt been screwed up in some way (nastiest Boston Market ive ever been to btw).

I really like Logan's Roadhouse and Texas Steakhouse and Saloon in that genre. For a higher end steak a Peddler is hard to beat, but not that many of them around.
