Something really doesn’t add up in this story, someone just accidentally adds a reporter to a thread? I’m going with someone added him on purpose and they’re trying to make up a cover story.
I have a real hard time believing someone smart enough to be in this group of people is so dumb (or arrogant?) to think they wouldn't get caught.

Why not mistakenly send it to Aunt Martha? Or Franklin Graham? Or Mike Tyson? Or GURPS?

Pretty sure this goes in the Not an Accident column.
Figure that was a contact in their phone?

Never know though, I got a text one time asking me for "some more of that great stuff that blew my mind"

FBI needs to examine the phone for confirmation.

Until then, I'm inclined toward it being bull####.
Whelp so far the National Security Council, specifically Brian Hughes has stated that "the text chain appears to be authentic" adding that the National Security Council spokesman, characterized the discussion as “a demonstration of the deep and thoughtful policy coordination between senior officials” executing Trump’s national security strategy. But the disclosure raised questions about how the administration has discussed classified national security matters.
