So who added the contact to Waltz's phone? Was it mislabeled?

Interesting article. Possible mistaken identity "JG" should have been another person with those initials.

and this from the article:

The Central Question: Why Was Goldberg in Waltz’s Contacts?

At the heart of this incident lies a puzzling detail: Waltz had Goldberg’s phone number saved, enabling the initial Signal request and subsequent group chat addition. Signal does not allow users to connect without a pre-existing phone number match, meaning Waltz either manually entered Goldberg’s number or had it stored from a prior interaction. This raises a critical question: why would a senior Trump official, operating in an administration often hostile to mainstream media, have the personal contact of a journalist from a publication Trump has repeatedly derided?

If true, it still doesn't answer the question of "Why" he had Goldbergs number in there to begin with.

I still say deliberate.

What should be announced is, we have found the holdover govt employee who added the phone # to the text. They have been terminated. Then you will see the liberal media scrambling to find out who .

Pete Hegseth says it's BS and there was no "classified" communication, it was just a discussion. Regardless:

I'm not averse to our government operating in the light. I like to know what goes on behind the curtain. The mission was successful so I'm not sure what the gripe is.

After outing the Dems for major security breaches (Hillary...) I'm sure these people have instructions to be well above board regarding security, so they don't get equated to the Dems for the same mistakes.

so I'm not sure what the gripe is.

She asked, “Did this group chat break the law?”

Raskin said, “Most certainly it did and it reflects a general sloppiness and negligence in the whole approach of the administration. As they’ve gotten started here they’ve been struck down more than 40 different times by federal courts with temporary restraining orders or preliminary injunctions, because they’ve acted in such a cavalier disregard of what the rule of law requires.”

He continued, “And this example you’re pointing to, Kasie, obviously, is with respect to operational implementation of some plans. But if you look at what the underlying plan was, it’s Congress that declares war on Venezuela or on Yemen. It’s not the President of the United States. So it’s both this tremendous operational negligence and sloppiness that has been shown, but also the idea that they act in complete defiance of what the Constitution says and what the rule of law stands for.”

So far none of the information put forth is anything but banter.

My guess is he was hoping for some tasty bits and got nothing but a litany of Vance opinions on the Eurotrash.

I too was underwhelmed with the level of "classified material".

Unless more impressive information comes out I'm going to chalk this up to more Dembot bullshit.
