Oldest just texted me a picture of a lump in the middle of my bed and told me to guess what it was. It was Boone. He crawls under my comforter when he needs some "alone time" away from Gracie. Poor guy. Gracie is a handful even in her brother's mind.

Finally got it resized to post and yes, I have litter boxes in my room. :ohwell: Tried numerous times to get the boxes out of my room and have them use the ones downstairs. Then I just gave up.

Our Mr. Buff does that, both the bedspread and the couch throw.

Gracie had quite the night on Sunday. She ended up getting locked in our storage room for several hours. She must have followed my oldest who was doing laundry into the room unbeknownst to him. I woke up around 5am and heard banging downstairs. I thought it was Gracie and the stray black cat fighting with each other through the sliding glass door. I opened my window as that normally scares him away. Didn't see or hear anything outside. The banging continued so I stood at the top of the stairs that lead downstairs. I could hear faint meows and I realized what had happened. Got a flashlight as I couldn't turn on the lights because my husband sleeps down there. Opened the door and there she was. Luckily she didn't go potty in there either.

As you can see, it really stressed her out once the shock wore off in the morning.

Poor Gracie!

What trauma!

It may take seconds of kitty therapy to get over her experience.:roflmao:
I did think it was sweet that Boone was worried although not overly worried because just a couple hours before I realized she was trapped, he was in my room suckling my shirt and sleeping. I guess after his quick nap, he went back downstairs to watch the door to see if it would magically open yet.

Sweet Brother Boone must have needed his energy before comforting Sister Gracie during her time in captivity. Thank heavens the repair lady came and fixed the Magic Door, just in the nick of time!

I have gone full "cat lady" and started an Instagram page for Boone and Gracie. I am hoping that doing this will keep me off the cat forum that I kept getting sucked back into. :banghead: Created it yesterday and already have 5 followers. And one scammer contacting me in hopes that Boone and Gracie would be "brand ambassadors" for them.

Scammers have seem to ended at two but holy crap, the number of porn wannabes that want to follow my page is ridiculous. I get all excited when I see I have a new follower until I look at their profile and see butts and boobs. This has happened so many times. :banghead:

I can't say that Gracie is stupid. She seems to have learned from her ordeal. Now when she is allowed to go into the storage room, she will lay right by the door so there is no chance anyone won't see her and lock her inside again.

Yesterday marked 3 years since we got Boone and Gracie. As you can see, they are still struggling to adjust to indoor life and long to be back outside.
