Dear Forumites:

I... am a slacker. I have waited until the last possible week to write my research paper. I hate writing research papers... I feel this will be the downfall of my college existance...but I digress.

I need your help, dear forumites. I need to create an original source, and so I have chosen this forum to do so. I am creating a poll and asking for your response to the question.

I have not decided my position on the death penalty yet... I will need to come to my own conclusion prior to writing my paper.

But you all have opinions... I know you do... so share them with me.

The death penalty: Right or Wrong? Why do you feel that way?

TIA

i think using other people's ideas to write your paper is wrong for moral reasons and against the college code of conduct.

A little late to the party aren't ya? :coffee: I'm sure your feigned concern will be duly noted by all interested parties.

It isn't, actually, since I was doing a survey and asking for responses.

And your concern is much delayed, as I've written the paper, turned it, and received it back with an A, despite his average grade given being a D.

like i said...i know it is late.

Honesty
Students are expected to perform their own academic work. Plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty are considered extremely serious offenses. Students are personally responsible for understanding the various forms of academic dishonesty as they are explained in the Student Code of Conduct in the Student Handbook. Ignorance of any requirement for academic honesty will not constitute an excuse from disciplinary proceedings.

Good job, congratulations on the "A"! Good thinking out of the box.

Well, wouldn't gathering community input, analyzing that input, then writing conclusions based on that input be "you're own work?" Just asking.
