The Demise of Twinkies?

Apparently I have never fed my kids a Twinkie. I asked them and even showed them a picture and neither has had one. I feel like they are now missing out.

I have never eaten a twinkie or any Hostess, Little Debbie's, etc., and I am 57 years old. Now, if Lay's potato chips disappear, I will I feel bad for anyone that has lost their job, no matter what the circumstances. It is, also, scary to see a long time iconic company go under; I hope this isn't a really bad sign of things to come. JMO

Your kids are not missing out; there are other goodies out there. What if they loved them, then you would have to pay $100 a box on ebay!

I looked up a recipe to make your own online. I am sure they will not taste exactly the same but they will probably be better for you anyway. I love them but I have issues eating something with a ridiculous shelf life like that.
