The disappearing shed...

There was this nice new shed, built to replace an existing old shed, with siding and shingles to match the newly renovated house. Now it is gone. Also gone is another shed, also sided and shingled to match the house, and a gazebo. I wonder where they could be?

Floating? No not floating, but I will have to say that's an answer I hadn't thought of.

Chop? Uh... no. It was plenty real until it and the others vanished.

Riddle? Well sort of. Why would somebody go to all the trouble to take that little shed? It is a nice, well built shed though.

The missing, well stolen really, shed has been found. And on the same road it was taken from, Cross Manor Road. I've been told who lives there, but I want to verify that info. I think the gazebo has also been located, and not much farther away on Villa Rd., but it is harder to identify.

Guess they urgently needed a pool house. You'd think if someone was going to steal an entire building they'd at least take it far away before setting it up. Look as if these folks stole stuff even though it was nailed down. When/if you get it back it looks like it'd be a great dog house for maybe a pit bull or a mastif.

One pic was obviously taken in the fall/winter and the other clearly in the spring.

So the shed probably got moved or torn down during the change of seasons.

It doesn't look like the same shed. :ohwell:

Because they painted the door? Maybe you should look again. The siding and shingles match the house it was stolen from.

Some additional info.

This is not my house. I know who renovated it and I know who bought, and then didn't pay for it. I know that everything in the house was stolen after the house was foreclosed on. And I mean pretty much everything. All of the new kitchen appliances, the washer and dryer, some of the cabinets, the exterior lighting, the furniture, 2 ceiling fans, the light fixtures from all of the bathrooms, the shower heads, the locks off of the doors, and even some of the door hinges. And 2 sheds and a gazebo. Other stuff too, but you get the gist.

It's a case where the mortgage company doesn't care enough to try and prosecute anyone and will just write off the loss. Personally I would like to see the whole gang locked up. But I'm sure they will skate as they have been doing for years. Still trying to verify the name of guy with the shed.

No, I don't have to look again.

The shingles on your shed look green and the "stolen" one looks gray. Maybe it's the picture, but I'm just making an observation.

It could be. But if it is, how does one go about knocking on the door and saying "Excuse me, but my shed ran away and it's hiding in your back yard"

:eyebrow:

Wait until dark, then steal it back. Put it right in the spot it was stolen from. What are they gonna say? "Excuse me, but I stole your shed a while back, and it somehow made its way back to your place. Can I have it back?" :lmao:
