Thank God she is alright.
It was declared totaled.
Just got back from Baltimore to release the car to the insurance company and get the tags.

Erie Insurance is GREAT to work with.

Glad she's okay, sorry about the car.

Glad the only harm is the vehicle. Darn shame a fender bender like that totals a car. They sure make them cheap these days.

Having Fun!
Glad she is okay. Been there, done that, didn't want the t-shirt -- certainly no fun. Erie handled ours, too.

Did you sit down, finish shaking & then have a beer yet?

OUCH!!! The same thing happened to us about17 years ago. It just so happened that I was the Paramedic on duty that night, and had no clue it was my child until we got on the scene. Give her hugs..she already feels bad enough.

And I just spent $600 on new tires for her Christmas present.
:bawl:

Those new tires might have saved her Dad!
Glad she and you are OK.
As you well know, it could have been a lot worse!
You all take care and blessing for your not so bad news!

I'm so glad everything here is within walking distance, my daughter is never going to drive. (I know, I say that now, she's only 14) but I really don't want to get this call. I worry about her enough now. Two grown sons and I still can't stop worrying.

DoWhat, give her a big hug and don't worry about the car, it can be replaced.

Wow, Roman, that must of have been truly traumatizing. I am glad DoWhat's child is ok, too. I, also, got that call once, but my child was ok, also. We all have been blessed. No one can ever be too careful on the road.

Holy cow! What happened?

She lives up in Baltimore now.
She was driving through an intersection and BAM!
She swears she had the green light.
Happened around 10:30 PM Wednesday night.
Got the call at 11:00 PM.
She went to the ER to get checked out.
She is just sore now, stiff neck and a little body ache.

She did not get a ticket and neither did the other person.
So the insurance companies have to figure it out as who is at fault.
I checked the Baltimore City website for red light cameras, but that intersection does not have one.

Poor thing. Glad it wasn't worse. Did she call you or did someone else? At least when you get "that call" and it's them you know they're still alive and your heart doesn't hammer as hard.
