Awesome trip yesterday.

We fished out of PLO and caught our limit (5 fish) by 11am. It was interesting that it was a very slow start - with a lot of boats searching. When they finally decided to bite, we had all our fish in 1.5 hours. Hot baits were tandem rigged parachutes on the planer boards, although one of the deep umbrellas did catch our final fish.

Here's a picture of today's haul all fish were 35-40".

here's a clip of Capt Donnie realling in our last fish today. Donnie rarely reels in fish so I think it's kind of cool. This fish was probably 38" and not as girthy as some of the others we caught.

Everyone must be in hunting mode... I'm still pumped about striper fishing. I think I've watched that video like 50 times... so cool.

If anyone's interested Capt. Donnie told me Saturday was still available.

Not every one is so lucky though. Out of the four boats I saw come in at 5pm Sat. only one caught a fish and it was only 29".

They call me ... Sarcasmo
I was thinking about calling up my uncle and heading out on Sunday after church but it sounds like the weather could be a little dicey.

Bread and fry your rock or blue nuggets.
Dip them in hot wing sauce and blue cheese.
I haven't tried this but the folks who operate the "Pelican" (I think) out of Solomon's say this is really good stuff.
