The frantic first days of school...

Part of the problem is that schools are so big now, that bus drivers don't get to know the kids. Had my son been on the correct bus, my daughter could have at least been there to stand up and say, "WOAH! NOT HERE!"
Also, I think they cluster the students at bus stops too tightly in some places. I think that Indian Bridge Apartments has only one stop for the whole neighborhood. The drivers are too pressed for time.
In the confusion of the past week, even the teachers couldn't get their communications lined up. The orientation was scheduled for 12, but didn't happen until 1, and I spoke to about six different people regarding where my kids go after school and what bus to take...
