I believe he was banned off of the pre-Musk Twitter for "disinformation" about COVID-19. Elon Musk has asked the Twitter CommunityNotes to research the truth of the claims. CommunityNotes is a new Twitter feature where select users review claims in tweets for accuracy and then everyone can vote on how fair/accurate the notes are. Seems to be working fairly well so far. Quite a few out-of-context posts has been debunked and others verified. I think they even debunked some Biden statements.

Stories like this bug me because they always make a bad assumption at the beginning which can make it easy to refute later. If the Pentagon is researching bioweapons, is there any chance whatsoever that they have a single program and czar running it?

Think of any program, aircraft, tanks, missiles, satellites, AI social media scraping disinformation bots, etc. There are many programs for each, with separate chains of command and separate funding. If the US is researching bioweapons, then there are probably dozens of programs of which Fauci may have been one.

But all the disinfo guys have to say is that there is no ONE SINGLE HEAD HONCHO in charge of bioweapons, so this is a false story.
