It's horrifying and there should be a law against him being able to even call it BBQ. It's good enough if you've been sitting at Tiki and need something to soak up alcohol, but that's about it.

I agree, the last time I ate there I was at the Tiki bar, had only one beer and ate a BBQ sandwich, got home and that sandwich came right back up! Will not eat there again.

Just would to Thank Everyone who supported us last year as a new business we strive for the best authentic wood smoked BBQ. We cater for thousands every year. Hope everyone has the chance to check us out. As for the comment on cove point park construction site in was mainly hot dogs and hamburgers sold there not really BBQ. SEE everyone at TIKI now thats a Catering GIG

I'm coming from Texas and have not found any good BBQ from a commercial establishment since moving, but I will give you a try. Do you have bakers (baked potato's piled high with BBQ beef, sour cream, cheddar, bacon bits?)

Why not have a discount day to let people try items?

Any recent reviews of this place? We're looking for someone to cater a party for 40-60 people. We were thinking Bear Creek (since we've used them before), but they haven't returned our call. Maybe we'll sneak down this weekend to try it out. Thanks!

Go with Sunshine Catering. I have been to many events that they cater and even the worst one was great. They are dependabel and will arrive on time and serve what you want not what they want to fix.
Very professional.

Grill Master is like everythig else on "THE ISLAND' OVER RATED AND OVERPRICED.

Last year at the Brew & Que, there was a fellow that had the most awesome brisket. The corn on the cob was to die for. I can't remember the guy's name. Vrai was with me, maybe she can recall..she spent some time chatting about recipes, etc. with him.

Actually, dear, there are many people on here who will confirm that I know a little something about BBQ.

When you're ready to prove it then let me know and I'll bring:
BBQ ribs
Samuel Adams® Black Lager
Samuel Adams® Honey Porter
Samuel Adams® OctoberFest
Sweet and smoky flavors are all over this dish, so there are a number of ways you can go here. The Black Lager and Honey Porter have both of those flavor characteristics from the dark roasted malt and have the big flavor that can complement most bbq sauces. If you want, lean a little toward the sweet caramel flavors of the OctoberFest instead.

I copied this from the SA food pairings website.

Does vrai have a horseshoe pit in her yard too and a fridge with lots of cold beer?

No horseshoe pit, no fridge. Plenty of coolers. Never a shortage of something to drink or eat at vrai's house.

You're not invited. :neener:
