It amuses me when people complain about some place when they were actually righted on the wrongs they encountered.
You got free fish because you were given the wrong meal.
The manager corrected your debits and it can easily be assumed that this, as well as some other issues, were because of new hires.
The thing that leads me to know you are one of "those" people who can always complain about a restaurant is this:
I think that most people "normally" don't run into problems enough to say that they would "normally" complain.
Leftover fish sux and it certainly was not "free fish", it was the fish I paid for. If they wanted to right the wrong they should have taken it off my bill and called it a day.
Yep, he corrected my debit...after I called about it. Wonder what would have happened if I had not called? His new hires should not be my problem and should be properly trained before being allowed to take care of customers on their own.
Well, you've got me on the ropes there...I'll be sure to select my words more carefully next time. I should have said "IF" I have a problem, I "always" bring it to the managers attention. If they don't know what is broken, they can't fix it. On the other side of this coin, "IF" I have a very good experience, I also "always" make a point of telling my server as much and I bring that to the managers attention so that he can be aware of where exceptional sevice is being provided by his employees.
