The New World

I LOVED The New World and it was on my 2005 top ten list. Such a beautiful, moving drama with incredible performances and rich cinematography. I don't know how to describe it - it's not your typical movie experience. It submerges you in this world and is overflowing with drama, romance, and action. Just an enthralling cinematic experience I 100% recommend. Don't let Colin Farrell's being in it, fool you - this is NOT another Alexander.

It comes out on DVD on May 9th and I recommend everyone rent it. :---)

If you enjoyed films such as Braveheart, Gladiator, and The Patriot (historical epics with tons of character-based drama woven into the history), The New World is definitely a great choice for you. Such a powerful, thrilling epic.
