I am so very blessed
:howdy: If I convince myself that today will be a great day, do you think my day will actually turn out that way?

maybe one day I will be special enough for a secret lunch.
Tell you what. You take a day off and come down here, and we'll organize a special "Come Meet Magnum" luncheon.

I can't take off work for that, when I do have a chance to miss work I am busy working on something else. Like I have to change the brakes on my Blazer, wheel bearing on my little car, put tin on the roof of my cousins new barn that we built saturday, I have to put up an electric fence for some cows, another for some goats, my list never ends. But thanks for the offer, maybe someday I'll have a free second

My neighbor was putting in tomatoes plants yesterday. I thought it was way to early for that. Somone please correct me if I am wrong. I plan on having the world's most perfect garden this year.

I usually start them around now, but I keep them in pots that I can move inside when it's going to get down to freezing. Once we have our last frost, (around April 22), it's safe to put them in the ground.

You can actually grow the tomatoes in pots for the entire season; just make sure the pots are big enough for full grown plants.

Too early. I haven't been able to get the tiller through the garden yet. And with all this rain it'll be two weeks before it's dry enough. Besides, like Suz said, we may have another frost. The way the weather been this winter, the only thing I'd put in the ground are plants like cabbage, onions maybe, greens, as long as they are plants. You won't get seed to germinate unless it's 70 degrees in the ground.
