I bowl overhand
I chased rain from about 4 PM til I finished at 1030 (EST). I rode a LOT on wet roads, but other than a sprinkle or two never wet enough to get out the rain gear.
PERFECT day for a Long Distance Ride.
Started from home at 0430, stopped at WAWA for fuel and witness signatures, and rode through the morning at 68 degrees.. got into VA the sun came up and I don't think it got past about 76...
North Carolina it started to heat up, but once I started chasing the strom it dropped from about 96 to 84 and 84 is REAL nice after sitting in 96 for an hour or two.
Got off the Interstate (or AN Interstate, not real sure which one it was) at Brewton and my Brother checked in from Lexington, and BG from Dameron waving me off saying Pensacola was getting hammered, and had another one coming. I was about an hour out, and just slowed my roll, and watched the ever advancing lightning on the horizon.. Again, never caught up with it, but it kept the temps in the low 80's, though when I got in it was HUMID!!
So left the house at 4:30, started the ride around 5 or so, and got into Pensacola about 10:30 EST.. Mr Garmin said a total time of 15.5 hours, and I know I'm new to this new math stuff, but I did the math and it's 17.5.
So I'm here, going to eat my frozen burritos then I'm going to crach until Tuesday!
