Yes, it would. Don't do it. If you are driving on some real snowy roads, put your truck in "1" and dont go over 25mph.

Otherwise fill up your truck bed with anything your cats won't bother, and don't hit any ice.

BTW, do you or anyone know anything about Tow-Haul mode on a truck :shrug: I know from experience this seems to have a higher tolerance for mph speed before switching gears, etc... could this be an equivalent to 4 wheel drive or something? Would it be best to drive in tow-haul mode if you don't have front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive :shrug:

It only changes the RPM when the transmission shifts. It will not do anyhting for you in snow.
