There are some people that just should not have a computer. My admin has been using a computer for daily office stuff for 10 years. MS-DOS to 95 to 98 to Win2K and XP. All versions of Word and Excel. Yet when I helped her today and typed control-C to copy some text, and control-V to paste in another document, she jumped up and down and asked what did I do, how did I do that, she only uses Edit/Copy....... I just stared at her....
Yeah, I know it's just a little thing, but this has been going on for years. I teach her, and it goes in one ear and right out the other.
Ok, I'm done here. Back to...... whatever it is I do here...
Sounds like some of the people we have here; They have more degrees than a rectal thermometer, and look where that gets stuck!
We had a Technical Director back in the early 90's who started at one of the remote sites - he walked into his office and had a Macintosh SE (small all-in-one B/W screen) on a desk with a keyboard and mouse. He asked "what is this TV doing in my office?"
We hit the floor laughing! I guess that is what happens when they send a guy with a Masters in Oceanography AND Theology to be your Technical Director of a satellite tracking station...
