I've got my daughter felt dolls made with her picture. They are like paper dolls, but in felt. The doll itself is on thick ridgid felt and the clothes are regular weight felt.

I think it would be funny to order one without telling your other family members. Then, after it has arrived, you come home early the next afternoon and set it up to hang from the ceiling or something.

When your significant other arrives home you can casually explain how you got "a little upset at _____ today".

After a minute or so you can ask the kid to come out of hiding, and everyone can have a chuckle.
