Unbelievable! Now the environmentalists are blaming Bush for the Hurricanes in Florida! http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=/Culture/archive/200410/CUL20041026a.htmlI guess he was supposed to fix Global warming too.

Everyone should blame Bush. He has a chance to prevent the earth from warming, and he has done nothing but give tax breaks to his oil drilling, and tree cutting friends. Shame on Bush. If anything we shouldn't be cutting trees down, we should be trimming more Bush! :patriot:

Kerry, like EVERY SENATOR present for the vote, voted against the Kyoto Protocol - the "global warming" treaty.

From his website:

"John Kerry and John Edwards believe that the Kyoto Protocol is not the answer."

Doesn't stop them from criticising BUSH over Kyoto, does it?

(Edwards wasn't IN the Senate then; he's still working on his FIRST elected position, most of which he's spent campaigning).

I knew this would bring you out Urbannutcake. The sign blames Bush for the Hurricanes in Florida. I guess he was supposed to fix Global Warming during his term.
Not all scientists subscribe to theories that global warming is caused by man -- much less the supposed link between global warming and stronger hurricanes. Many scientists say hurricane activity is cyclical; and no one's sure what, if any, impact global warming will have on the frequency and intensity of storms.
It's all politics for the Kerry campaign in Florida. Environmental 2004 is a political organization.
Environment2004 also describes itself as "a political organization dedicated to electing leaders who understand the importance of environmental protection." The group also is anti-Bush.

Bush = Global Warming?

Naaa. Global warming started with the Industrial Revolution. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Big Industry, Big Cars (back in the day) and our own fault for not demanding better standards..(if that is what you wish) Even if Bush didn't pass harsh environmental protections, there is no way in He** that he is responsible for it. I am with the republicans on this one.

Caught this one on the TV and they showed these signs all over Florida. Environmental 2004 has been putting them up everywhere to try to pull Florida to the Kerry vote. Obviously.

Global warming started with the end of the last ice age.

JUST KIDDING.... Who would have known? Kerry thinks he's the reason the sun continues to come up every morning.

Guess you were just joking when you posted some of the earlier threads too.

This winter when there's 6 feet of snow on the ground and we're all freezing out butts off, I'm going to bump this thread. Just for kicks. :dance:
