The tomatoes I've bought this year have been really good. I've been disappointed in the corn.

Surprisingly the first tomatoes I was buying at the Loveville Produce Auction in March and April were the best tasting. These were locally grown in hot houses. We were selling them as soon as I took them out of the truck. People were calling in advance to make sure we had them before coming down. But since the tomatoes starting coming out of the fields/gardens, taste hasn't been as good in my opinion.

Agree. The last batch I got from a stand in Callaway a little over a week ago looked nice, ripe, but after 5 days sitting on the counter they were still crunchy and flavorless. He had just picked them from the field.

I get rave reviews for my produce . Green beans were the only thing that didn't do well this year . Tomatoes three kinds, squash two kinds , cucumbers, lettuce four kinds , bell peppers two kinds , hot peppers , onions and a nice papaya plant to boot, won't last but neat to grow.
