Yeah. Seems that all of a sudden, a perfect pile of white rocks (that weren't there ten minutes earlier) were there for him to, just out of the blue, make a cross out of white rocks on the beach. Certainly the battleship in the background, the camera crews following his impromptu, solo, reflecting walk on the beach and the sudden pile of rocks were not a crass, staged event for him - it was just soooooo natural
