from the article "1 pound of pre-made, refrigerated dough" I guess pre-made could be considered store bought???

How do you make your bread dough? Seasonings?
That's what I thought. Anyway...On the other hand, "pre-made" = make your own and keep it in the refrigerator
6 1/2 cups flourHow do you make your bread dough? Seasonings?
Thanks!!That's what I thought. Anyway...
6 1/2 cups flour
2 packets yeast
2 T salt
3 C lukewarm water
Dissolve the yeast and salt in the water for 10 minutes or so, stirring lightly. Mix in flour with a wooden spoon or dough whisk until flour is absorbed, do not knead! Once mixed (dough will be sticky), cover and let set out for 2 hours to get the gluten going. Refrigerate until ready to use. Makes 4 dinner size boules or 2 regular loaves.
If you want to get fansy, mix in sundried tomatoes and basil, grated parmesan, toasted onions, black olives, rosemary, whatever you like.
