Oops, sorry, I didn't read that part.

I wonder if you could use homemade dough? We'll find out soon enough...

That's what I thought. Anyway...

How do you make your bread dough? Seasonings?
6 1/2 cups flour
2 packets yeast
2 T salt
3 C lukewarm water

Dissolve the yeast and salt in the water for 10 minutes or so, stirring lightly. Mix in flour with a wooden spoon or dough whisk until flour is absorbed, do not knead! Once mixed (dough will be sticky), cover and let set out for 2 hours to get the gluten going. Refrigerate until ready to use. Makes 4 dinner size boules or 2 regular loaves.

If you want to get fansy, mix in sundried tomatoes and basil, grated parmesan, toasted onions, black olives, rosemary, whatever you like.
