That's kind of strange. The Chicago concert had space problems because so many people that went had mobility aids. I was almost embarrassed because we didn't.

I've been to several there and none were as bad as this was. Two drunk girls in front of me arguing, selfie sticks blocking my view, on and on. I don't think I'll ever go over there again after that.

Not country but the last one I went to was to see Heart (maybe 5 years ago). OMG the drunks were obnoxious. Nothing wrong with a few beers but these people were truly obnoxious. Not even paying attention to the concert just staggering around, trying to start crap with other people, screaming for the sake of screaming, etc. I got seriously pissed at ruining it for me. I'm a life long concert go'er to the Capital Centre/RFK/Merriweather and others and I've seen a lot but this proved to me that a lot people down here don't know how to act.
We made that one....don't remember the drunks being that bad, but my standards are lower, so...

I started attending Merriweather concerts around 1974..Cap Centre a couple years later. Good times..amazing bands.

I don't have the highest standards at concerts either lol. Maybe it was just worse in the area I was in. My first concert at the Cap Centre was in 74. I can't remember exactly who and no I wasn't drunk lol.

The craziest one I ever witnessed was AC/DC in 1981 (Capital Centre). Teenagers passed out in the bathrooms, the Red Cross had cots lined up with passed out teenagers (this was all before the band even started, they were wasted when they got there) and PG Counties finest in riot gear. My friend and I were like WTF?
