It makes the point, which I’ve agreed with, the pendulum swung way too far left in response to Trump, it’s now normalizing.
Meanwhile the GOP has a Governor candidate running for election in NC wishing Women couldn’t vote. I’m pretty sure that would be a popular opinion in this forum, maybe even by women who post here, but it’s not popular among most folks.
Run these candidates, lose elections, say they were stolen. MAGA/GOP 101

Noticed that, haven't you? More and more, they have less and less new ideas or well thought out solutions. One of many reasons I slowly left them. They've long ceased to be the "party of ideas" and for the last generation have become the party of blaming. Their MAIN party platform is, we're not the other guys. The reason you're supposed to vote for them? "Well we were GONNA do this or that, but the Republicans did this or that". What about all the crap that happened on your watch? "Oh THAT was all THEIR fault - and if it happened on our time, it's because it takes time for it to appear, that's all".
Just - think of this. Imagine if you will, if this was something your DOCTOR said. Or your auto mechanic said. It was that way when I got it. NO SHT! That's why we voted for you. "They stopped us from fixing it". THEN WHAT GOOD are you? "We just need more time!" What, eight years not enough for you? "Republicans in Congress stopped us!" Hell, you HAD Congress.
Imagine if your doctor or mechanic is working on something - and it's WORSE. And he gives you these kinds of excuses. You know what you'd do? You'd FIRE him.
You know - Clinton promised to slash the federal employee payroll. He did. Mostly - military. He promised an end to big government, as we know it - and proceeded to try to CREATE the biggest federal boondoggle of all time, Hillarycare. He promised to end welfare as we know it - and he did. Later claimed he wished he had not.
Since then, the Dems have run on - well - NOT being Republican. Can ANYONE name what Hillary or Joe said they would do, if elected? Everyone can name Trump's - but those two? Concrete promises, not vague "put the grownups back in charge".
Not just "bogus" - but - inconsequentail - and having NOTHING TO DO WITH THE THREAD.
I half expect to drop a recipe in the Food section and for her to say something about Trump.
