Did you say "boring short tracks"? :killingme

The only boring tracks are California, Texas and the road courses.

:yeahthat: and :yeahthat: (except for the road courses, those are always the best races of the year)

I stand Corrected ! Road Courses are more boring than Short Tracks, BUT short tracks are still boring!

:roflmao:

The short tracks and the road courses are the best races in NASCAR. They need more of them.

The restrictor plate races are a 200 mph heart attack. Of the many drivers they have interviewed on TV, very few of them like the restrictor plate races.

Of course, Brad Keselowski and Michael Waltrip like them - it's the only way they can win a race. Keselowski wouldn't have been near the top 30 and Michael Waltrip would have never won a race if it weren't for the restrictor plates.

Richmond and Bristol are the only good NASCAR tracks left. NASCAR got rid of the tracks worth watching: N. Wilkesboro, Rockingham, Hickory, Lanier, New River Valley Speedway, Nazareth, Orange County, Myrtle Beach, Volusia County, Pikes Peak, Nashville USA, Old Dominion, Langley, South Boston, Mesa Marin... (I can list about 100 more)

:fixed: and that's why I watch the ARCA Series. :yay:

Short tracks, superspeedways, speedways, dirt tracks, road courses, most importantly, Rockingham. I love me some ARCA racing! :dye:

BTW, the only track that can seat over 200,000 people in grandstand seating is Indianapolis.

They sell out the Indy 500 because the Indy Racing League imposes a blackout for the "Kentuckiana" area if the event does not sell out (or come close).

And, I highly doubt they'll get 260,000 people to come to the Allstate 400 after last year's pathetic little disaster NASCAR/Goodyear/IMS provided and tried to call a "race".

Jever wonder how Beefer knows these tracks he has listed hosted races "worth watching" when he wasn't even born when the last races were run there?

Beefers age when they last raced at the named track:

North Wilkesboro 1996, 8 years old.
South Boston Speedway 1972, -16 years old
Hickory Speedway 1971, -17 years old.
Langley (Winston Cup) 1970, -18 years old.
Langley (Busch) 1988, In uetro. I am thinking he barely dodged being t-shirt fodder.
Myrtle Beach (Bush) 12 years old
Volusia County Speedway (Busch), 4 years old

Allow me to do a representaion

Beefers ass ---->> (*) :blahblah: <-----Beefer talking out of it.

South Boston Speedway 1972, -16 years old (Nationwide raced here until 1999 and Camping World Truck Series raced here until 2004. You fail twice.)
Hickory Speedway 1971, -17 years old. (Nationwide raced here until 1998. USAR, however, still races here. You fail x3)
Langley (Winston Cup) 1970, -18 years old.
Langley (Busch) 1988, In uetro. I am thinking he barely dodged being t-shirt fodder. (I've been to this track several times for late model races, you fail x4)
Myrtle Beach (Bush) 12 years old (I've been watching NASCAR, ARCA, etc since I was 3. You fail x5)
Volusia County Speedway (Busch), 4 years old (and I was alive and kicking, you fail x6)

I can see you now, 4 years old, finger buried to the second knuckle in your right nostril, wearing your home made finger paint Steve Grissom t- shirt, shaking your sippy cup and cheering and Steve on to victory on the ABC broadcast of the NASCAR Busch race at the Myrtle Beach Speedway!

Oh wait.......it wasn't on TV, and even if it was at 4 years old you were not sitting there watching it for 3 hours.

Oh wait maybe it went like this.

You are 8, you are sitting there watching the last Winston Cup race at North Wilkesboro Speedway with your dad's fedora on with an index card stuck in the hatband with the words PRESS written in red crayon. You are pretending to write a gripping vivid account of the race on a Royal portable typewriter with no ribbon. You are composing an imaginary masterpiece when you have a profound epiphany that races at North Wilkesboro are some of the few NASCAR races worth watching.

You fail x100

See the problem with liars is that .....well they lie, but mostly when they lie and then try to explain it and go off the high dive of UTTER STUPIDITY, they look really retarded. See liars also get so accustomed to lying that they think people actually believe them so they instinctively do it.

Keep going Beaver Boy, tell us about how in your expert opinion about racing at the road course at Augusta Georgia and how Richard Petty should have won.........when it actually happened 25 years before you were born.. :killingme

Nothing to see here
..., then all you would have would be boring a## short track races to watch. But this is MY opinion for what it's worth ! :ohwell:

I'd much rather watch a short track race than a superspeedway. Different strokes, different folks..:yay:

Because none of the NASCAR Nationwide Series races were televised until 2001 :sarcasm:

Except, during the 90s, ESPN aired Nationwide races and aired several ARCA races. They even aired the All American 400. ASA also had a healthy TV deal during the 90s as well. :yay:

I guess Petey's getting too old to remember that. :lmao:

A lot of people hate the road course races, but I think Sonoma, Montreal (Nationwide), Watkins Glen and NJMP (ARCA) are some of the best races of the year.

Keep it going, shake that sippy cup and dazzle us with some stories about how even when you were 3 years old you easily recognized the pure talent of Phil Parsons. :killingme
