When a righty refers to a "Limbaugh", I think "Rush". Not true in this case?
Correct - but all you would have had to do to KNOW that was click on the link and actually READ it.

There are stereotypes for a reason...

...and yours is that you run around, do little drive by insults or things you think are funny all while most eveyone else tries to get you to slow down and actually comment, but, alas, you never actually engage or even do your drive bys in a fashion so that anyone might think you actually have a point.

In this case, there's even a link which you could have checked out in just a second or two, but no. Instead, you just pulled another...

...Kerad.

Kerad, 'kee'r'add', v. "To spout off on something you think is funny and will poke at the intended target even though what you thought it was isn't even the case."

Congrats. You're a verb.

I had no interest in the article. I just saw "Limbaugh" and put out a friendly little jab at Larry. No biggee. I'm sure if I would ever post the name "Carville", I'd get much of the same.

Kerad: to spout off mindlessly about topics with which you have no familiarity, let alone knowledge, and have no desire to actually learn about. EXAMPLE: "Why is that guy kerading about football when he's never even seen a game?"

I thought Kerad was a noun...

Kerad, 'kee'r'add', n. "Troll."

I guess it could be both...kinda like sh!t.

Wow.

You guys are so smart. Your knowledge is as vast as the universe itself. To have become part of your vocabulary is truly an honor I will cherish forever.

When motivated, I can engage any one of you in debate, supported by the many references and documentation you love to give extra credit for. I just don't have the desire to do so on a regular basis. There is entirely too much self-important drivel for me to attempt to combat. I pick and chose.

Then again...contrary to what is evidenced by many here....a sense of humor is a postive thing.

Kerad: to throw non sequiturs into conversation so everyone will stop and go, "What the hell is he talking about? "

Kerad: to make exaggerated claims with no means or intention of backing them up. EXAMPLE: "I could lick all of you with both hands tied behind my back. I just don't want to."

I already have, my friend....and will again, when a subject catches my interest. Just be patient.

Possibly. I have no love for the guy. But I would READ what he said before making a comment on it. On another forum this morning, I had a lengthy discussion about the legalization of drugs and got a VERY long article pretty much repudiating everything I said.

I read all of it.

Why would I do that? Pretty much following the basic approach I always have, being at heart a scientist - I'm *always* willing to admit I am wrong, provided that I'm given an intelligent, rational and well thought out argument. I admit my bias, and my inertia to an opposing idea - but I've been dead wrong about stuff before, and so I'm always willing to at least listen.

I also realize that when you're trying to discuss an issue with someone who litters their posts with language like "those red-state redneck m*f*ckers voted for that lying Chimp and his Nazi cronies" - I realize that their opinion really ISN'T worth listening to. Rational, logical, reasoned - I'll listen. Bullsh!t stuff, I don't have to entertain. I only have so much time.
