Here in Alexandria, they all drive like maniacs and the lane markings are totally ignored by all. In the midst of that melee, pedestrians randomly cross and horses pulling buggies meander in an out of it all....and I've yet to see the first accident or squashed pedestrian.But it amazes me that in SoCal they drive 75-80 bumper to bumper an seldom pile them up.
