Local Business Thread to hurt feelings | Question about Bru

When I first went to Bru I was a bit excited, it had a decent variety of good beers. But there has been a steady turnover of staff and the offerings seem to be nothing special, it's become another bar, a not so good one at that.

Went back recently and didn't recognize but one or two people on staff. Service was frankly putrid, and overall a rather less than cheerful environment.
What's the story? New ownership? new management? Why the decline?

Just my two cents, oh, wait, asking for a friend.

Shepard's Old Field market in Leonardtown.
That would be the place. I have no problem with the Market itself, new shops, they expanded
Botanic got a better spot, inside and outside seating - somewhat healthy food, nice people
Salted Scoop, fantastic ice cream, interesting flavors.
I saw the Viking Axe throwing, pretty cool spot and they have stuff for kids.

Like I said, I hadn't been, Bru started out great, lots of promise.
Then it seemed like a change in management and things got a little slack.
But on my last visit, I walked out, the staff just didn't seem interested and the beer selection looked like it hadn't changed in the last 6 months.
I also heard from friends that it can get a little rough on Friday nights, apparently a much younger crowd than any of the other places in Leonardtown.

I've only been there 2-3 times. :sshrug:
