Whew...It's moving out of Leonardtown now. Still a few rumbles, but it seems to be mostly over. I'm peaking out from under the bed and the lights are still on. And will a bed really block lightening?

So, we all just sit down together, and they actually lay in my lap.

It was spooky here.. for an hour prior to the storm coming through the sky was lighting up constantly like a strobe light. From darkness to daylight like light in a flash over and over again. It looked like the lightning was above the clouds with no thunder but there was a flash about every second. Found it hard to believe it was lightning, actually went outside and watched.

Then the storm came through and holy hell, what a ride! Lightning striking all around us, almost endless thunder.

My next door neighbor was the one in St. Inigoes. The lightning was incredible. It fried at least her drier. One of my trees was hit and has wild patterns where the lightning traveled down the tree.
