So I am in the garage working on the boys 4 wheeler so I can sell it and I remember I need to check the air pressure on my bike. I crank up the air compressor and look for the valve stem and realize I have to move the bike to reach it. Sooooo I take the handlebars, stand it up (without getting on it) and roll it forward. I gently lean it over on the stand and CRACK..THUNK!

There is my baby laying on its side. :bawl: When I rolled it forward I must have not had it all the way up and it partially folded the kick stand. When I rested it back it rolled about 1 inch forward and the kick stand folded right up and over it went.

I should have took a picture but I was in a hurry to get it back upright.

Same thing happened to my PS3 last night. Broke up the face plate real good but it still works.

I was steamy.

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

I will ride it tomorrow to make up for being careless and letting it hit the ground.

Certainly you are not comparing my gorgeous 2007 Fire red and black pearl Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide to your puny game console? :buttkick:

Hopefully, that will be the only time you ever lay it down.

So, what were your actual words that you said when you saw what happened?

I do too. It was a beast to get back upright but I was not going to go get the neighbor to help

I actually didn't swear right away.

Ouchie. So did you hurt the bike?

Thankfully no it wasn't. It was sitting on the astroturf carpeting so it didn't scratch anything. The engine guard and crash bars worked as advertised. :yay: 850 pounds of bike on its side is NOT pretty.

The pipes caught the back. Scratches on the lowers or did the bar catch it?

No scratches that I saw. Maybe I should go back down and put it up on the stand and inspect it closer.

Check your tires, my front was down 8 pounds and the rear was down 14. I thought it felt a little squishy the other day.
