Thunk!

No scratches that I saw. Maybe I should go back down and put it up on the stand and inspect it closer.

Check your tires, my front was down 8 pounds and the rear was down 14. I thought it felt a little squishy the other day.
Will do. Mine hasn't been started since the warm spell before x-mas.

The guys were riding Harleys throgh the hallways at HD in Hughesville on Friday. I thought OMG entirely hardcore!

So I am in the garage working on the boys 4 wheeler so I can sell it and I remember I need to check the air pressure on my bike. I crank up the air compressor and look for the valve stem and realize I have to move the bike to reach it. Sooooo I take the handlebars, stand it up (without getting on it) and roll it forward. I gently lean it over on the stand and CRACK..THUNK!

There is my baby laying on its side. :bawl: When I rolled it forward I must have not had it all the way up and it partially folded the kick stand. When I rested it back it rolled about 1 inch forward and the kick stand folded right up and over it went.

I should have took a picture but I was in a hurry to get it back upright.

Sorry Pete. I can't ride with anymore. You've let us all down.

It really does suck when you lay it down and you aren't going anymore than 5mph....doesn't it :killingme

I have to get mine on a charger....tried to start it the other day and I swear all it did was look up at me and say "you have got to be kidding....there is no way you are going to go riding in this temperature" and it turned over a couple times and that's it :ohwell:

It wasn't even running  I would rather it hit the astroturf rug in the garage going 0 than to have it hit asphalt moving.

Your mutt needs a 4 wheeler still right? I will trade you the 4 wheeler for your bike.

Nope....he has a "bike" that is sitting in the shed....the last time he rode it was BEFORE the last time I rode mine

I suggest craigslist....that's where his is going to be listed as soon as he gives me the "go ahead"(he gets to keep the money)

Get one of those trickle chargers that you leave on all winter. It kicks on charge when the battery gets low and shuts off. Battery tender.

I was gonna ask if you've ever laid that fat bastard down. I am totally impressed you got the thing back up. :buddies: 800 pounds you said?

Actually about 865  I dropped it in a parking lot at work one morning. Silly mistake, hard right turn, powering, brake clamped and got it chugging flopped right over on its side.

I liked the garage drop over the parking lot drop. No audience in my garage. I got it up by myself both times. Its not easy, technique plays a big part of it.

That's what I have in the garage(bikes in the shed)....I just haven't found the time(or the inclination) to go out there and hook it up yet....I probably will some time this month if I can find the 5 or so minutes to do it

Ah, didn't know that. I pull wheelies on my Ultra all the time but I never have deflated the tire.

Accidental wheelies don't count
