Ticks

Just moved to a house tucked up in the woods, the ticks are awful:jameo:. Dogs have Frontline, but they are still getting on them.

What kind of spray can I buy to spray the yard and weeds along the driveway? Need to get this under control fast.

Any info would be great on yard sprays.

Thanks

If they're that bad you should probably call an exterminator to have your house treated. I used to work at a pest control company and some ticks can actually live in the baseboards and carpet of your home only to come out when they have to feed (on your dogs...or you) but I'd take your dogs to the vet and have them professionally treated or at least have them out of the house when the exterminator comes. Good luck :yay:

They stay on FrontLine all year long, just need to find something to spray along the driveway and the yard. They are not in the house or on us.

Just looking for some info on sprays that anyone has had success with for this problem.
Thanks

Any of the broad spectrum insecticides available at Lowes should work. They all say what they treat on the label. Most do cover Ticks. It doesn't matter too much which one you pick as most have the same active ingredient. I've used Cutter Yard Spray with good results for short term solution. I've used Scotts Summer Guard fert and bug killer all in one to hit the entire yard. Because of the dogs, make sure you read the warnings on the label before you buy/apply.

Thank You:buddies:

That is what I was looking for, what has worked for others. I'll let you know the outcome.:howdy:
