Are they really common here? I'm going to have to change my name from Ladybug to Tickgirl. I found one on me (attached) the other day and had a little freak out. I have been camping, hiking, fishing, etc. my whole life and have never had that happen. Am I just going to have to get used to it here? I checked the dogs and they are fine, although they don't spend much time outside anymore.

I dropped someone at the Bean Medical center and rather than wait inside I walked down a trail toward the back of the parking lot. I picked three off me when I got back from about a 15 minute walk.

That's just crazy! I guess we'll have to be really careful from now on.
