Ticks

I have a hotdog, whom I love so much. I notice a few days ago these tiny little "droppings", there were a bunch, I just thought dirt, so I cleaned his bed and this morning they were there again. About 50 of them. I squeezed them and there was blood. I am thinking ticks, of course but that many. We do live in the woods and the dogs run around a lot! I have never seen anything this small....pintip size. I am going tonight to get the frontline but any of you have an better suggestions and should I do something in the house as well (besides vacuum?) Thanks all!

He most likely hit a test of newly hatched baby ticks. I would shampoo him thoroughly with a tick killing shampoo and also treat all of his rest areas... this could include your rugs and furniture.

Thank you so much, that is the plan...but didn't know whatelse I should be doing. My daughter is very close with this dog so we are all being "dipped" so to speak tonight!!! Big time vacuuming too! Thanks!
