I've been to the Tides several times for lunch and all except for the last time I was there, the food was excellent and the service superb. I haven't been there since, but I'm hoping it was just an off day for them and will go back in a heartbeat.

The restaurant is stunningly beautiful, the food absolutely incredible, and I appreciate having the choice of a fine restaurant in this area. :yay:

I think so too, look around st mary's county and even calvert all you see is mediocre food and fast food chains for me Tides was an exception they have a talented chef and service crew thats superior to all dining destinations in st mary's.

Ok....let me guess,

+Drive a Volvo?
+Have a rainbow decal prominently placed?
+Send money to Liberal causes?
+Believe that George Bush is a small time unsophisticated Hick who stole the election using right-wing Christian fundamentalist fanatics funded by big oil?
+Torn between Paisley and Mauve for the next party outfit but called your partner first to make sure you didn't clash?

Please check the box or mark all the above.

I asked about high school because I went with a couple of guys with the last name Rush. Although, one of them is dead.

i guess i have been unlucky so far after nine visits
the only time i can recall was the chef yelling and motivating his crew on a busy lunch day  :
